About Us

Founded in 2002, the Marine Awareness and Conservation Society (MACS) is dedicated to promoting marine conservation through public outreach and education. We host events at local schools, community spaces, and organizations. We aim to inspire passion for marine biology, educate on conservation, and provide hands-on learning experiences.

Outreach Events

Through hands-on outreach events, we bring marine education into classrooms, museums, and community spaces. No matter the age, our programs make marine science accessible, engaging, and inspiring.

Educational Trips

Our semesterly trips give members the chance to experience marine conservation firsthand. Through ocean cleanups, researcher talks, and tidepoolings, members connect directly with marine environment conservation.

Fundraising Initiatives

Our fundraising efforts help support club programming, power our outreach efforts, and provide new opportunities for our members. No matter the amount, your generosity makes an impact!
