BioSphere 2 Coral Tank

Our coral division helps maintain an educational coral tank in collaboration with BioSphere 2. This allows our members the opportunity to get up close and personal with coral care (a rarity in Arizona), as well as gives us the ability to educate visitors at BioSphere 2 on a bi-weekly basis!

Women in Ocean Science at OdySea Aquarium

MACS is proud to partner with Women in Ocean Science to help connect MACS members with a broader network of students and professionals working across marine and environmental fields. Through our WOS outreaches and events, we’ve fostered a community dedicated to promoting diversity in STEM.

Science Communication Education

Through training, presentations, and outreach events, MACS helps members build confidence in public speaking, teaching, and science communication skills to audiences of all ages and knowledge levels.

Alumni Network

The impact of MACS continues long after graduation. Our alumni network connects current students with former members working across marine science, conservation, education, and other related fields. This opens the doors for mentorship, professional development, and internships for members.
